St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School

Founded in 1951 as a Black American Franciscan school, St. Anthony of Padua provides a high quality Catholic education. Welcoming students Pre-K through 5th Grade from all cultures, we are committed to respect for each person, celebrating our diversity. All charged with this mission strive to create in each student a desire for life-long learning and a commitment to being a builder of the Kingdom of God.

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School believes in meeting the needs of the whole student through solid educational instruction, discipline, and growth in developing a positive self-image.

At present, the school consists of Pre-K 3 through Grade 5, with an enrollment of 95. Along with Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province, the Sisters continue work with an outstanding staff of lay persons who seek to serve the African American Community of the Greenville area, in the name of the Diocese of Charleston, as an integral part of the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua.
